About Me
I'm David Butler, currently based in London, UK. I’m a freelance media server programmer and creative video project consultant, working in the live events, theatre, TV and film industries. I specialise in custom integration of hardware and software for the purposes of entertainment video/AV, lighting and advanced show control.
I'm also a software developer, working in C/C++, C#, and a variety of visual languages including Max/MSP/Jitter, Touch Designer and Processing.
In my spare time I work on free software tools and libraries released via this website. Occasionally I have to time to produce artistic work of my own design, which is also showcased here.
